A Simple Search in the Catalogue
General

The principle is really simple: type in part of the name or word which you want to search for in the catalogue.

Press on the Query Button 'Search'
In the left frame a list of possible matching names or words appears.

Choose a name or word from this list to see the connected titles.

At the end of each line with results, there is an -icon. Click on it to see a detailed description.

Choosing a Name/Word

Some initial letters of a search-word may be entered so as to see a list of all possibly matching entries on the screen.

The use of the 'wildcard symbol' (*) is also possible: by doing so a list of all possibilities which contain somehow the entered letters instead of having them at the beginning is selected and shown.

Authors are sorted by 'Surname, First Name'

Part of title

When searching using 'Part of title', the resulting titles are directly displayed in the bottom-right frame.

The entered 'Part of title' doesn't have to be a complete word. It can be part of a word or it can even contain more than one word. The use of the wildcard (*) is not needed in this context.

Erasing the results

Click on the icon of the searchlevel which you are using. In this case '1'.
